About Us

The Child Advocacy Center of the Finger Lakes (CACFL) facilitates child abuse investigations through a team of community partners in a child-friendly environment, offering support and hope to children and families. Our center is a private, dedicated facility that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We strive to minimize additional trauma experienced by children and families and ensure they have access to critical services. Since opening our doors in 2008, we have provided services to more than 2200 children and families. According to national estimates, this model has saved the community approximately $2,200,000 over the last 10 years. The CACFL is a regional CAC serving Ontario, Seneca, and Yates counties.
